Saturday 9th August – Parkruns
Leeds Parkrun:
318 runners took part in the 359th running of the event which was won by Gwil Thomas of Valley Striders in 17:12, the first female, 12th overall, Elizabeth Davies (Springfield Striders) in 18:55. For Otley, Steve Robinson 20:17, Andy Webster 22:11, Sara Elliott 23:39, Imogen Webster 29:54 & Alice Webster 34:44.
Roundhay Parkrun:
winner Jamie Parkinson (P&B) in 16:38, first female was Myra Jones (Valley Striders) in 9th with 19:45, just the one runner for Otley AC, Joanna Midgley 136th in 28:48.
Sewerby Parkrun:
winner Jonathan Carter (unmatched) in 17:25, first female was Rebecca Clifton (Bridlington) in 20th with 22:25, just the one runner for Otley AC, Reid Haddow 49th in 25:38.

In Sewerby the 25:38 it means that Reid is back in good form. In Hide Park Sara E. ran quite well the 3 laps, and Steve R. had 20:17 that is not bad at all for this kind of course, also the Webster’s family ran with consistency in this parkrun. Joanna M. in Roundhay had a good running morning.
