Thursday 7th July – Thruscross Handicap
Another good turnout saw Tom Potter winning his first Club Handicap around Thruscross Reservoir. We were lucky to avoid the worst of the local thunderstorms, and the midges were out in force, water & woods not a good combination…
Ben recorded the fastest time of the day in finishing 3rd and in doing so moved up to 2nd in handicap table. Caron finishing in 8th moved to the top of the table. The first few in the handicap table is now Caron on 120 pts, Ben 115, Carol 114, Matt B 105. (& if you’re wondering….his unusual h’cap time was due to missing his allotted start time….). See updated Handicap Table here

Is it a first for someone to finsh last in one handicap and then finish first in the following handicap…Maybe, Just maybe a piece of OAC history?
Maybe it’ll be in the next edition of The News Of The World if it is 🙂
Possibly it shows a very responsive handicapper!… Well done Tom, storming through the storm.
