Thursday 19th September – Dream Mile
The second runner of the year track race was incorporated into the Mile races organised by Keighley and Craven AC, which raised £282 for Candlelighters. This was a series of 5 races the fastest being a sub 5:30 race which was won by Callum James, Keighley and Craven, in a close race with Tom Adams who finished with the same time. Junior also from the host club, Georgia Twist was first female.
Tom Paget was the first home in the ‘B’ race four seconds ahead of Sean Hornby. Well done everyone.

A very fast series of miles races in Keighley . Junior Sophie Paget had a great run , Sophie crossed the finish line with a quite quick 7.12 . Junior Olive A. had a good performance too , she finished with a brilliant 6.45 . Junior Thomas A. had a super run as well , he finished with a strong 7.11 . Junior Austin R. had a splendid run , he finished with a fast 6.18 . Junior Arthur T. had a robust performance , he finished with a solid 8.15 . Junior Morris M. had an impressive run , he finished with a very fast 6.09 . Well done to everyone
