Sunday 26th July – St Aidan’s Virtual 10k

Sunday 26th July – St Aidan’s Virtual 10k

Another race report, this one being my first and perhaps only report on a ‘virtual’ race. I’m not normally a big fan of these ‘virtual’ races but this was a bit different. You can run the race anywhere you like though, you can enter here   Update! Below you’ll find an alternative Danefield route that I finally got round to checking. It’s slightly more ascent than Chevin one, but probably faster running. Danefield 4m 900ft route description

Sunday 2nd February – Dewsbury 10k

Sunday 2nd February – Dewsbury 10k

I lined up at the start not knowing what to expect as having done a few weeks of good mileage but little speed was not sure how quick I would be. Luckily seemed to be over my recent virus and my wheezy chest has settled down. Felt quite strong going out and got to 5 K in just under 24 minutes. Kept strong coming down hill and managed a negative…
