Saturday 23rd July – Parkruns
A big turn out of Black & White club vests at this weeks Chevin Forest with new parkrun pbs there for Colin Dennison, Carl Walsh and Rachel Michael.
Third place finishes at Bradford and Roberts Park for Ed. Hobbs and Beth Massey and a new parkrun pb for Beth.
Other club runners don’t get a mention normally here, but there was an amazing run from Treena Johnson, vet. 60 and first woman at Roberts park and 7th overall in 19:15 with an age graded score of over 99 !!, with a little bit of research that looks like 4th all time park run in her category.

Beth M. had a great performance in this 5k , she crossed the finish line in a very fast 21.13 . Leader of the Eric S. Championships Rachel M. had a brilliant run finishing in a solid 32.19 . Former President Carl W. had a good run finishing in a robust 28.59 . Youngster Edward H. also had a good race finishing in a super 16.46 . Well done all.
