November Runners of the Month

November Runners of the Month

The committee really struggled to choose just 2 runners this month, so decided on a festive doubling.

First up is Catherine Dobson for her two 10 milers in the month at Guy Fawkes and Tadcaster (a PB)

Mick Jeffrey for his excellent Guy Fawkes run, and his commitment to the regular speed sessions (they must work)

Next is Simon Quin who has really upped his racing, including improving parkrun times and committing to the Cross Country races, which have resulted in a new PB at 5k, dipping under 20mins for the first time.

Last but not least is John Armitstead who has proved he’s a class act with a well paced Tour of Pendle, winning a prize for 2nd in age category (and that is one tough race).

Well done everyone, I’d best stock up on wine.

  1. Former Otley AC President Mick J. is in great form at the moment , he is really flying , the Award is well deserved . Also John A. deserved the Award because he is a strong fell runner with a good stride . Simon Q. also deserved the Award , lately he is running in great style and really fast . Catherine D. too is running really well with a PB and deserved the Award for super performances . Well done all .
